New AgInfo Website Launched!

After many months of research, design and technical work, TLGV has launched its new website for agriculture businesses:  www.AgInfoTLGV.org .  The new site addresses two needs specified by agriculture businesses in the 2009 TLGV Farm Survey:  a one-stop resource for information and a way to network with other farmers and exchange information.

The AgInfo website provides a comprehensive internet information source as well as networking opportunities through the blog and forum features.  It also provides continuing education on topical issues and commodities, the environment, energy, business development information, resources and much more.  The site is evolving and information is added regularly.  Go on line and tell us what you think of this new resource!

The New TLGV Visitor's Guide Has Arrived!

vg

Updated and beautiful for 2011, the newest edition of The Last Green Valley Visitor's Guide is being distributed to all the information racks and centers in the National Heritage Corridor. The 108-page guide features a beautiful aerial photograph by Leslie Sweetnam of the Quaddick Reservoir in Thompson, CT, that really captures what this region is in a format that is nothing short of breathtaking.

The contents include listings and many articles about the destinations and experiences a visitor may enjoy in our wonderful region.  Enjoy "Cool Scoops" and read about brain freeze.  Or select a great day in The Last Green Valley from our "100 Things To Do" list.  Thank you to Tony Felice for the wonderful sunset photograph on the "welcome" page and to Laura Moorehead for her exceptional design work.  This latest guide to the region is a great resource for visitors and residents alike.
